LBS系統除了傳統的定位路徑規劃等等，又有一些新的功能，通訊公司提出一些應用，可以幫忙找到興趣相當或者附近的朋友，但是相對的目前缺少很顯著的應用還有安全隱私問題，所以導致成長速度仍然不迅速．
如今有許多公司提出GPS晶片載手持裝置上，Google也提出相關應用服務，大部分都是透過GPS定位與應用服務廠商連接，做出路徑規劃定位等，但低功率訊號也有干擾減弱導致收不到的問題，這方面可透過無線網路點的距離做三角定位，是個很好增加精準度的解決方案，也可以大福減少定位花費的時間，在另一方面，Mozilla也計畫將相關套件，結合到Firefox瀏覽器上．
但目前上，有些問題，因隱私安全等導致使用者增加速度慢，還有在不同介面上資料互相溝通問題，歐洲政府推動的意願遠低於美國，等等有許多各類問題．
在未來上，因為現有的手持裝置越來越便宜，還有Google提供免費相關應用，LBS還有很高的發展性，在車用配備上也越來越多車子裝置相關設備，在這上面有很大的廣告商機，Nokia還有Apple也都投入大量研發在此上面，雖然現在還看不到趨勢，因為還是屬於非必要的狀態下，但是未來相關廠商也一定也會找出特定賺錢的商業模式．

這兩套瀏覽器已經用了一段時間
個人感覺速度差不多
都比IE快很多
在一些網頁有看過說
chrome在跑ajax速度會比firefox快一些
但是IE在各種網頁的相容性還是最高
在一些學校系統也是不能不用
感覺那個瀏覽器的最大差異
firefox 的優點有許多免費的套件可以用
像是推薦foxyproxy
學校可以用來設定多組proxy代理伺服器
可以編寫規則
利用TANET 中央 中原 教育部 國家高速網路中心的proxy的變換
來提升網頁瀏覽速度
chrome
感覺簡潔方便
很推薦portable版本
打工常常在外面跑維修網路
如果判斷是個人瀏覽器問題
非設備端問題
可以當場用usb隨身碟開啟
當場測試結果給電腦擁有者看
可以省下很多麻煩
介面也比firefox容易使用
